Lessons 1: Tuning Tips

The waveriders drum is so unique with it's new serpentine tensioning system it allows for a smooth easy tuning which will hopefully help the absolute beginner right up to the professional that is critical about tone. Here on my leg i have a tuner, which we just described, and i have tuned this drum to a proper tone. I’m checking it right now by playing the bass stroke, which I will describe in our lesson. Here you can see the tuner functioning to give me with the green lights lighting up a perfect e major. This example with the tuner demonstrates just how easy it is to tune our drum. By simply inserting this common allen key it can be tensioned or detensioned to create good tone. If you do not have a tuner you're just find tune the drum to the liking and sound that makes you feel the best.
