Lessons 3: Holding the Drum

The third way which is a very comfortable way to stand up move around and dance, is to use a strap, this is definitely a traditional way to use a djembe. Simply insert the strap through the cables or a loop, bring the strap around, insert it through a buckle or tie a knot create even distance between the end, slide the loop under the drum, now i'm going to create a cross here, so that I can put my head through this cross and my arms through here, to create a harness, traditional djembe strap playing.
